My husband is constantly sniffing and has scratchy itchy eyes - could this be an allergies to dust in the home??
What would be the first steps I should take to help him and maybe his allergy

Get ride of as much dust as possible. Quality HEPA filter vacuum everything, dust all surfaces. have a qualified carpet cleaner do the carpets and soft furnishings (IICRC certified and NUCCA member). Buy new bed pillows. Then wait a few weeks to see if things improve.
