Last week I met a cleaning contractor from Adelaide that came down to Melbourne to clean her husband’s boss house. She told me that she charges for cleaning $25 per hour. And I told her that cleaner her in Melbourne charge between $33 to $55 per hour. I know one cleaner that charge even more than that. She nearly fell of her chair when she heard that. She said people look @ her funny when she saying to them she is charging $25 per hour that it is to much. When I gave her the bill for the carpet cleaning $250 for 3 room (she was paying for it from pocket money her husband boss gave her) I though I need to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital. She said she makes this money some time in 2 days and I worked for it for 1.5 hours. 2 days later I spoke to a carpet cleaner in Adelaide that bought my old PROCHEM truck mount and when I said to him I try to at list make $1000 a day turnover he said no way in Adelaide you can do that. Are people in Adelaide different then to the rest of Australia? They don’t understand we have to run a business? Gidon
